Treatment Methods For Enlarged prostate

Medicines

Medications such as terazosin, tamsulosin, doxazosin etc. are alpha blocker drugs that help in relaxing the muscles of the prostate and ease urination. Secondly, there are enzyme inhibitors that help in shrinking the size of the prostate and easing urination. Such medications are slower than alpha blockers and have a much faster effect in men who have bigger prostate. There is also the option of combining the effect of both these medications which is a much more effective solution in reducing the symptoms faster and preventing episodes of recurrence as well.
